Delete your account

Learn French Offline: Ascend, by Balanced

An account is optional in Learn French Offline: Ascend. If you signed in with Google, you can delete that account, and everything we hold with it, at any time.

From inside the App (fastest)

1. Open the App and tap the gear icon to open Settings.
2. Under Account, tap Delete my account.
3. Tap Delete my account again to confirm.

It happens straight away. You need an internet connection for this step.

Without the App

If you no longer have the App installed, email support@learningonmyown.com from the Google account you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my account". We delete it and reply to confirm, normally within 7 days.

What is deleted

• Your account (your Google email and user ID).
• Your leaderboard entry: display name, city and total days practised.
• The cloud backup of your learning progress.
• Your sentence-mining count.

Nothing is kept. There is no waiting period and it cannot be undone.

What is not affected

• The learning on your phone stays until you clear it (Settings, Start over) or uninstall the App. You can keep learning signed out.
• A Premium subscription is not cancelled by deleting your account. Cancel it in Google Play, under Payments and subscriptions.
